Nafplio, Mycenae, Epidaurus & Ancient Olympia Tour

Embark on a 3-day luxury tour, filled with beautiful landscapes and archaeological adventures in the vibrant and overflowing with history area of Peloponnese.
With Athens as our starting point, our first destination will be the famous Mycenae, discovered by Homer as ‘Rich in Gold’, the most important and affluent palatial center of the Late Bronze Age in Greece and kingdom of mythical Agamemnon.

Among the highlights, you will witness the Treasure of Atreus, the most impressive of the preserved Mycenaean tholos tombs, and the famous Lion’s Gate, symbol of the Mycenaean rulers’ power. Subsequently, we will visit the extraordinary Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, famous for its mind blowing acoustics, symmetry and beauty.
We will conclude the day with a tour of the picturesque port town of Nafplio, a jewel of the Peloponnese region which served as the first capital of Greece after its proclamation of independence in 1822. There, you will have the opportunity to take a walk around the old town and its outstanding neoclassical buildings, visit the historic Bourgi Castle, and bask in the unique atmosphere of the city.
The next morning, after breakfast, you will once again be transported back in time through a visit to the captivating Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Visiting Ancient Olympia transcends mere historical exploration it is an endless wellspring of culture and spirit that truly warrants a visit to Greece.

The site's profound historical importance, combined with its natural splendor, promises a truly compelling and enlightening experience. Whether wandering through the ancient ruins, marveling at the artifacts, or simply soaking in the serene atmosphere, a trip to Ancient Olympia is a glimpse across millennia that will leave a lasting impact.
We will spend the second night in Nafplio, for a chance to indulge in the authentic Greek culinary experience, with local delicacies crafted from fresh ingredients, grilled meats, Greek salads, and regional cheeses, all while basking in the warm hospitality of the locals.

We will start our journey back to Athens on the morning of the third day, but not without first visiting Ancient Corinth and the renowned Corinth Canal. This canal serves as a link between the Saronic Gulf and the Corinthian Gulf, effectively dividing the Peloponnese region from the rest of mainland Greece. Our trip will conclude with our return to Athens, where you will be dropped off at the destination of your choice.
